Punta Gorda, BELIZE - Travel + Leisure named Copal Tree Lodge, a Muy’Ono Resort, in the Top Ten Resort Hotels in Central America as part of their World’s Best Awards. The World's Best Awards survey asks readers to weigh in on travel experiences around the globe. Hotels were rated on their facilities, location, service, food, and overall value. Properties were classified as city or resort based on their locations and amenities.
“It is an honor to be listed among so many wonderful properties,” said Cortney Lebens, CEO at Muy’Ono Resorts. “Copal Tree Lodge is all about offering a luxurious immersion into the culture and cuisine of Belize in a pristine jungle setting. Being listed as one of the top resorts in Central America means we are doing our job!”
“While the beaches of Central America are certainly beloved, it was the rainforest properties that dominated this year's list of reader favorites,” stated Devorah Lev-Tov, Travel + Leisure. “Copal Tree Lodge, a Muy'Ono Resort, was described by one reader as a ‘Lovely resort nestled in the jungle of Belize.’”
This year's World's Best Awards survey was open for voting January 11 through May 10, 2021, as destinations around the world were lifting COVID-19 restrictions. Survey rules have always allowed readers to reflect on their travel experiences over a three-year period. The purpose of these awards are to inspire readers' travels as they get back out into the world.
